Pictorum Gallery is thrilled to announce Lydia Hamblet’s participation in the Canary Wharf Art Trail. Off the back of her solo presentation, Noises in the Florid Sky, at Pictorum Gallery, the artist has been selected to undertake a large permanent mural by the docks of Canary Wharf.
Throughout October and November, the artist will be hand-painting a 15-meter mural on the South Quay. This new public art piece is a testament to the power of art in transforming urban spaces and bringing communities together.
To coincide with the public art piece, Noises in the Florid Sky has been extended until 4th November 2023.
The unveiling event will be an opportunity to meet the artist and highlight both Pictorum Gallery and Canary Wharf Group’s commitment to promoting arts and culture as an integral part of urban life.
