Nina Baxter (b. 1992, London) received a BA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art (2013) and currently lives and works in London.

Nina's current work includes portraiture, still life and larger figurative compositions which highlight everyday moments of quiet euphoria, self-reflection, and interpersonal relationships. The paintings become meditations on the artist's day-to-day thoughts, feelings, struggles, and pleasures; celebrating and elevating small moments in delicate detail.

Having spent years previously absorbed in a world of abstract forms and geometric shapes, this new work marks a return to figurative painting and intimate subjects.

Nina Baxter's paintings have been collected internationally, with work in private collections across the UK, USA, Europe and China.

Nina's poems have been published in The Cannon's Mouth, Acumen and Reach Poetry.
